Hi! I noticed this drawing in the #ProjectComment gallery, so I though I'd leave some feedback. 
Yes, presenting of an idea as if said by a person (instead of just writing it) is certainly an effective way to transmit it, but your work needs some improvement. The figure is very simplistic, which might be what you intended, but even then, it needs improvements - I suggest fixing the lines crossing each other, and pay a little more attention to the anatomy (the neck should be at equal distance from the shoulders, not on a side; and what about the collar of the shirt?)
The writing should fill the thought bubble entirely, instead of only a small part of it (match the writing to the bubble, or the other way around).
I don't like your choice of the background colour; it is much too intense, and drags my eye to it. When I look at the picture, instead of focusing on the figure or on the thought bubble (which are the point of the picture), my eye inadvertently moves to the bottom right corner.
In summary, some simple suggestions would be to work a bit on the figure and text size, and make a more neutral background.
